Liane Wood, Registered Psychotherapist
Liane Wood is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP), who has combined her education in the mental health field with her own personal experiences.
In 2013, a near-death experience had a deep effect on Liane. This particular event, combined with past traumatic experiences led her to a diagnosis of Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). After over 25 years in the insurance business, Liane left this career and found herself having to rethink every aspect of life, including the most basic tasks.
To pursue her passion for helping others, and after many years volunteering as a peer counselor, Liane went back to school to study psychotherapy at a master’s level in Toronto attending the Transformational Arts College of Spiritual and Holistic Training. She graduated from the Spiritual Psychotherapy program, which combines spirituality with psychotherapy in an innovative approach that addresses the needs of the soul and spirit, as well as the human experience.

Dan Wood Bth. MACP, Registered Psychotherapist
Dan Wood has spent his career life helping people. Among other things, he has assisted marginalized communities during natural disasters, worked as a volunteer firefighter, chaplain and ordained minister. Dan is now a Registered Psychotherapist and a Compassion Fatigue Specialist. By combining his education with his experience he is helping the communities he is most passionate about serving.
First Responders
Dan recognizes that first responders cannot be treated in the same manner as any other individual that comes to therapy for support. First responders often have a lack of trust and struggle with vulnerability when receiving support. Whether they’re in fear of traumatizing someone else, being viewed as weak or incapable, or putting their job at risk.
Clergy
As an ordained minister, Dan is particularly aware of the unique challenges and stressors faced through a life in ministry.
