About Me

Helping others who are searching for a path to mental vitality

Liane’s Story

Liane is a mental health practitioner who has combined her education in the mental health field with her own personal experiences.

To pursue her passion for helping others and after many years volunteering as a peer counselor, Liane went back to school to study psychotherapy at a master’s level. She is also a Certified Havening Practitioner. To learn more about Havening click here.

While the trauma she experienced in 2013 garnered national and international headlines, Liane had been working through previous personal trauma with therapy in 2012. The combination of life experiences lead to a diagnosis of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Through trial and error and much work, Liane has had to ReThink every aspect of her life, from her work where she left a career in insurance of over 25 years, to working on figuring out the most basic of daily tasks. Thus, the name of her practice, ReThink Me, is much more than just a name, it’s exactly what she’s done with herself.

With the help of her service dog, Harley, Liane works at not only improving herself, but also at helping others who are searching for a path to mental vitality. The combination of personal experience with her studies in mental health allows Liane to customize and tailor therapy sessions to meet each client’s needs.
